Privacy Policy

Graduation is a desktop application that runs on your own Mac. It is local first, which means the ideas you explore, the projects the agents build, and the work they produce all live in a folder on your own computer. We do not run a server that collects or stores the content you create in the app. This policy explains the limited information we do handle and exactly how Graduation uses the Google permissions you may choose to grant it.
Information Graduation handles
- Billing and license. When you buy a license, payment is handled by our payment provider. We receive your email address and whether your license is active. We never see or store your card number.
- Local app data. Your ideas, debates, projects, and deliverables are stored on your Mac. You can delete any of it at any time from your own machine.
- AI processing. The app runs on your own Claude subscription or your own API key. When the agents run, the relevant text is sent to Anthropic to generate responses under your own agreement with Anthropic. If you add an optional OpenAI key, image prompts are sent to OpenAI to generate images.
How Graduation uses Google data
Connecting a Google service is always your choice, and each connection asks only for the narrowest permission needed.
- Gmail. If you connect Gmail, Graduation requests the send only permission. This lets it send an email that you have reviewed and approved with a tap. Graduation cannot read, search, or delete any of your email. It only sends the specific message you approve.
- Google Drive. If you connect Drive, Graduation requests the drive.file permission. This lets it save the deliverables it produces into your Drive and reopen files it created there. Graduation cannot see or touch any other files in your Drive.
- Your authorization. The token that lets Graduation perform these actions is stored on your own Mac and used only for the actions above. Disconnecting a service from the app removes that token, and you can also revoke access anytime in your Google Account settings.
Graduation's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we use information
We use your billing details only to provide and support your license. We do not sell your data. We do not use your Google data for advertising, we do not use it to train models, and we do not transfer it to anyone except as needed to carry out the action you asked for, such as sending an email you approved.
Data retention and deletion
Local data stays on your Mac until you delete it. Disconnecting a connector removes its stored token right away. For billing records or any deletion request, email us and we will take care of it.
Children
Graduation is not directed at children under 13 and is not intended for their use.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app evolves. The date at the top always reflects the most recent version.
